Meet Dr. Andrew Matthews, DC

A Message From Dr. Matthews:

Hi there.  Thanks for visiting our website and checking out our office. Here’s a little information about me:

I graduated from North Carolina State University with a bachelor of science degree in biological sciences.  While at NCSU, I was a student athletic trainer for two years.

After my undergraduate studies, I attended Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, Missouri.  I received my doctorate in chiropractic with cum laude honors.  While at Logan, I did over 200 hours of post graduate classes to be a candidate for the Neurology Diplomate program.

I was also a student instructor, teaching younger students in the chiropractic treatment techniques. I started my chiropractic practice in Kannapolis in May of 2001, right out of chiropractic college.

I am currently an active member of the North Carolina Chiropractic Association.  I have also completed a comprehensive training program in the treatment and diagnosis of whiplash and brain trauma from the Spine Research Institute of San Diego.

I am also certified in spinal decompression treatment. Personally, I enjoy sports and spending time with my family.  I train and compete in sprint and Olympic distance triathlons several times a year.

The rest of my personal time is spent with my wife Debbie, daughter Amanda and sons AJ and Ryan.
